My Review:
Warning: this review has a slight spoiler. It's something which is revealed fairly early in the story, but don't read any further if you want everything in the book to be a surprise. An overview of the review...I enjoyed the book and recommend.

Aw, I really loved this 1Night Stand story. The best thing about it is that the two men have a history. Drew has wanted to sub for Holt for almost a year. In the meantime, he's not been able to have sex with anyone else. He doesn't desire anyone else. He's getting a bit desperate and has finally given up. He finally accepts that it's never going to happen with Holt so he contacts Madame Eve, hoping that a 1NS will help him get over his obsession. So you can imagine his surprise...and yes, anger....when his 1NS turns out to be Holt.

I loved the set-up for this story. Drew has been burying who he really is to be the perfect sub for Holt, which is NOT what Holt truly wants. It turns out to be such a great story about the importance of being true to yourself before you can be something more to someone else. I loved Drew's bit of rebellion and bratiness. He truly wants Holt, but has finally hit the point where's he's had enough. He's not going to hold back anymore....nothing like a sub is supposed to act. But it shows that this is a guy who is his own person, too. It made him so much more attractive and a great character to read about.

The other side of that is Holt. I loved how quickly it becomes apparent about what he really wants. Yes, he wants a sub, but not an automotron. He wants a sub who's also strong and capable. So attractive.

This book was easy to love. It has a wonderful style to it. I really enjoyed both characters although we definitely get to know Drew better because the whole story is told from his POV. I liked the depth to the story. There is a lot of history woven into it to give a lot to this very short story. It was GOOD!

I just finish this one and i must say it was great! it's HOT. A dom with feelings, the sub was a little too weepy at times. I can't give it 5* only because I wanted more. Wish I had more and viewed it from both sides. I can't wait to see more from this Author 4.5

This short has a lot of great things going for it... strong male characters who push for what they want, rich emotional depth with layers of history to help sell it, and an intense BDSM experience that is neither too technical and obtuse nor too flowery or feminine or over-the-top. I also loved that the story doesn't end with the morning after and gives the reader a satisfying epilogue that makes you want to keep reading about these guys in their own series. Excellent short read and totally worth the investment (money, time, and emotion!). Loved it! Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys male/male bdsm erotica with the Master/sub dynamic.

Martin Kirsten is a man who loves the water, golf and helping the people around him. He was born in California but now resides in the Poconos with his girlfriend, two stepsons and his two daughters. He is returning to school to get a degree in respiratory therapy and hopes to use his thiry-five plus years of poetry to fund his education. Felicity McArdle teaches undergraduate and postgraduate education students at Queensland University of Technology and Charles Sturt University in Australia. It is quite refreshing to read something that pertains to man's inner nature. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the Book. I don't know why Miller did not use quotes from the Bahai Writings. The Bahai Writings have various eloquent quotations that support Miller's views.
