Story line is starting to feel redundant

I love author Maryann Jordan and her hot ex-military alpha male heroes. But the story line in this particular story is s starting to feel redundant. Hero meets an amazing woman that he's attracted to, but thinks he is too messed up or in too dangerous of occupation to pursue; heroine gets taken by a bad guy, he rescues her, realizes he can't live without her, and they live happily ever after. All three books in the Saints Protection and Investigation series so far, have the same plot. As much as i appreciate a good rescue story, they are starting to get old.

Sweet and suspenseful, but too short

In this novella, the reader is introduced to a new member of the Saints Investigation & Protection Agency: Jude. After being severely injured on a SEAL mission and forced to leave active duty, Jude needs to give his life a new direction and breaks up with his girl-friend Sabrina because he thinks she deserves better. However, Jude and Sabrina stay friends and she never gives up hope that he'll work through his issues and change his mind.
The story is mostly about Jude and Sabrina getting back together again, which is very sweet and also involves a suspense storyline. This part of the book is well developed and it's good to know that Jude will join the Saints and we'll meet the couple again in the next books of this series. I am definitely looking forward to Bart's story in March!
However, as this book was designed as a novella, there was not enough space/words to describe the period of Jude's accident, recovery and the couple falling apart in more detail. I would have liked to learn more about the characters' frustration after what happened to Jude and how he coped with it.
Jude and Sabrina and their second chance love would have deserved a full-length book and it's a pity that Maryann was too restricted by the word count to do them justice. I would like to point out that in all of her novels, the character and story development is supreme and if you haven't read any of them, you should definitely check them out.

Yep another great addition to the Saints series!

First I have to mention people this is a novella and it's supposed to be short! I don't get the complaints, haven't ever you read a kindle world book. ?! Moving on!
What I really liked about this book it's that Jude and Sabrina where already a couple. Even though they lost their way at the beginning later on because of Sabrina's pure will, they found themselves again!! All the things that you could expect from this author is here. The drama, romance, suspense, action and fun moments came together to give you a little bit more on the Saints series. Jude it's the kind of hero that unless he doesn't feel whole, it's unable to give his entire self to anybody including Sabrina. Are harrowing Sabrina it's the kind of woman Who doesn't give up, ever! The interconnections between series it's so Swift that you don't even register them. For a minute I forgot that this was a Kindle world and when the other characters came up, I didn't even realize that they were from another series until the second time they again appeared. LOL! That's how well it's written!
The editing was good.
The characters were really good flesh out.
The action , romance and the storyline had a great pays and were truly thought out.
Overall this novella won those five stars!! This is a great addition to the Saints series. You won't regret it. Happy reading!
